When we listen to a friend, watch a movie, read a book or poem, or look at a work of art, the stories, words, and images of the story create feelings, in part because we identify with the characters or the situation.
Whether it’s a story from our past that still causes us harm or a story of a time we took a leap and succeeded, experiencing creative works gives us the opportunity to shine light on shadowy places. In your own story, are you the hero? The victim? The villain? Or the anti-hero?
Jennifer has the incredible ability to challenge one’s own narrative but is also fully supportive of that narrative.
If your story is no longer serving you, or if you’re ready to turn the page and see what comes next, we can work together to figure out where you’re stuck and create strategies to move into the next chapter of your life.
